The property is next to an Air Force base- so be ready for noise. If you like watching aircraft, it is fun to watch from the front porch. "This is such a lovely place to stay! We visited in the winter, hoping to see the northern lights, and the location was perfect—peaceful and away from the city, yet not too far. The cabin is incredibly cozy, with warm wood floors that feel absolutely wonderful during the cold winter months. The place was very clean and cozy, and the owner was extremely helpful and supportive. We’d love to come back and stay here in the summer to experience Alaska in a different season!"

"We had a great stay in the Aurora cabin! We kept plenty warm with the Toyo stove, and had everything in the cabin for a cozy and comfortable stay. Cross country skiing right from the cabin door, beautiful stargazing, and amazing winter views. We opted for a sled dog experience while staying in the cabin and it was my favorite part of our trip. Definitely recommend. Would stay here again!! "
