"Loved this property. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Was quiet considering it's on a main road. The pool looked lovely, although we didn't swim. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a fair distance from eating area, but there is plenty to choose from in town."

"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"I chose The Briar for my wedding, spending the night before alone. It was precisely what I needed—peace and quiet, giving me time to relax before the big day. The property itself is beautiful quality and decor. The bed is soooooo comfy. I love the outdoor bath and seating area with the firepit. The hosts were easy to communicate with and we are so grateful for the little welcome bottle of wine and provisions. Easy drive into Nairne for all the ammenities and so close to the wedding venue. "This property and Staff were amazing. We started off in a lovely room, but had very noisy upstairs neighbors so asked to be moved to a room without an upstairs, The lovely lady at reception could not have been more accommodating for us ad moved us to a studio room. All I can say is AMAZING service and AMAZING room. It was so quiet, right in the middle of Hahndorf. Walking distance to everything. Beautiful l garden to look out at. Thanks for an amazing stay and all your help to make our stay comfortable and quiet. Will be back for sure and will be booking the studio room."
