"We chose this place based purely on its location and hoped for the best. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint. My biggest issue is that there was no one in the office for check in, our key was in an envelope with our names on it taped to the office door with a page of instructions, and we had to call the number on the instruction sheet to find out about things like the wifi only to be told that it was in “the notebook”. The notebook they referred to was buried in a basket that I had to dig...

"Nice room for the most part, comfy bed, hot shower, friendly service. Woken up around 6:20 am to another customer trying to use her card key on my door and management assisting her. Not sure why the staff didn’t immediately recognize they had the wrong door. My room did show signs of water damage in the vicinity of the shower head and above the mirror over the sink. Also, the tab handle bar was missing, the drain stopper was sitting on the shower wall shelf, and both the entry and bathroom doors...

"You won’t find a better property in chimney rock. They did a great job with the updates to the grounds and the rooms. The “backyard” is amazing. The only negative to come by is the $50 charge to check in early. $50 for a couple hours? If the room is ready, let the guests in! I know it’s policy and I get it. Lots of hotels try it, just pet peeve of mine when traveling. Again though, just an amazing spot!"

"You can look out on beautiful views from everywhere in the house and on the multiple decks. The playroom was really nice for toddlers. There was a lot of cookware and plenty of towels. There were also a lot of spices which we appreciated. Saluda is a really cute town!"
