"I was upgarded to a one bed apartment from a studio as they had to move me to a different hotel location (mirabell). The room was huge, very modern and clean. Easy access to the building and excellent location. Communication with the team is via whatsapp and they respond promptly regardless of the time"

Check in process was simple, though they should put in a more secure method of registration and payment of fees (leaving a paper form with sensitive PII and cash in an envelope on the table as you check out, without being able to lock the door when you leave, is a huge identity theft risk - especially as the exterior door is left open and unlocked during the day). "Well equipped apartment on the top floor of a hotel, where the staff had differing views to the owner as to the facilities that were available as a non-guest. Lounge area was compact, shower was over the bath with restricted shower-head adjustment. Comfortable bed, we appreciated the air-con in the bedroom. Ideally located in the centre of Mondsee and within earshot of the Basilica’s bells! Good value for money when compared to the equivalent hotel room."

The hotel / apartments totally exceeded all our expectations and every single staff member went out of their way to help and ensure our stay was smooth and stress free. "One first inspection the apartment is outstanding. Looks great and has all the mod cons. It not until you try and use the facilities that realise they fall short. The washing machine was a nightmare but fortunately the one downstairs was excellent, there is no toaster, no tongs and no broom and dust pan. "Stayed in one bedroom apartment, very spacious and nicely decorated. Had a good kitchen and a personal sauna. Personnel were very helpful and spoke good English. "Heritage Hotel is likely one of the best places to stay on Hallstatt. It is located right next to the boat ramp (which you will need to take across the lake if you are arriving by train, 8 euro per person for round trip) and is convenient to all cafes, restaurants, shops. Hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly, offer luggage storage for before and after your check in! Heads up on visiting Hallstatt during January - several shops and activities such as the bone house and sky walk were closed until February. Still plenty to see and do, but a lot of the things we wanted to do most we were unable to. Not all closures were accurately listed online. "

"We had a great time staying at Trend Salzburg. We were able to check in very early because we took an early train overnight and arrived early. We were very impressed that we could check in and have a shower and freshen up before we started the day. Staff were very friendly."

"After a long day of travelling to be able to walk out of the station and straight in to the hotel was fabulous. Room was lovely, and easy to walk into town or catch the bus. Shopping centre next door was really convenient too. Staff very friendly. The view of the city at breakfast was beautiful would definately stay again! "
