"This lodge while somewhat dated, is in a GORGEOUS setting with (as expected) beautiful views of the ocean in the distance (only 10 -15 minute drive away to beach areas in Luquillo) and the mountains right behind property. Staff was friendly and attentive. We did have a little difficulty communicating in English, but the what couldn't get figured out was quickly solved using Google translate. Even with very specific directions sent ahead of check-in, the property is a bit confusing to find....

"This is a hidden gem. If you are traveling to the west side of the island and your flight gets in late in the day this place is perfect. You can spend the night and rent your vehicle right at the hotel and leave the next morning after the traffic dies down. Same thing if you have an early flight.
