Everything is great. Only downfall is no onsite parking but they do have valet and a couple parking garages around the hotel within walking distance.

Only problem was My room face the street and there was a lot of noise on the street all night horses the clip-clopping, loud motorcycles and car stereos and the ceiling fan in my room made a loud clicking noise so I had to shut it so I didn't get much sleep

The Maverick - River Walk hotel in San Antonio offers a blend of positives and negatives that make for an interesting stay. On the plus side, this great hotel boasts awesome, quaint rooms that provide a comfortable and stylish base for your visit. The beds are particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep - at least in theory. One of the standout features of The Maverick is its fabulous location. Situated in the heart of the riverwalk, the hotel puts you within easy walking distance of several bars, perfect for those looking to enjoy San Antonio's nightlife. However, the experience isn't without its drawbacks. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to pay close attention to your room assignment. Rooms on the east side of the building face an alleyway, which becomes problematic around 3 AM when city dump trucks arrive to collect garbage. The resulting noise can be quite disruptive to your sleep. Another significant issue is the thinness of the walls. In our room, we could hear practically everything happening in the neighboring rooms and hall ways, which can be uncomfortable and further impact sleep quality. Despite these challenges, the overall experience at The Maverick was positive. The comfortable beds, charming room decor, and unbeatable location make it a hotel worth considering.

We stayed 9/13/2024 to 9/15/2024, The two Ladies working in the front desk were very welcoming. I am usually very picky with where I stay but I have nothing bad to say about The Maverick. It’s in a good area and you can walk to any places you need.

Property is in a fantastic location, just steps away from the river walk. Very clean, nice floor plans, and overall a great value, very friendly staff. The other reviews about the noise though, ended up being true. The windows appear to be the original wood framed windows with single pane glass, which allows a lot of noise to transmit into the room. If you are not used to sounds of the city, you may have trouble sleeping.

The Maverick is a great spot that is a 1 minute walk to the River Walk. There are nightlife and dining options just a couple minute walk from the property as well. The room was clean and while small, just right for the price. The valet parking can get backed up so if you need your car to be somewhere by a specific time, give yourself some lead time. The front desk and property employees weee awesome and very helpful. Free breakfast is coffee and a breakfast taco at a small restaurant off property, but it was very good.

The only major downside of this property is the windows are paper thin. It was absolutely ridiculous How noisy it is inside the apartment all the way up until midnight based on all of the live entertainment, etc., outside

It's noisy, but walkable. No food included but plenty of restaurants around.it's downtown but it's safe. (You need a unique code for every entry). Pricey but worth it. No parking included but plenty of parking lots/garages in the area. Overall, it gives a mini apartment vibe. I loved it so much. Will be staying here again.
