"Eric & Sharon were lovely. They have built an incredible property. The villas are absolutely perfect. We truly enjoyed learning about all of the plants and animals on their property. They have two beautiful dogs, 6 cats, and a resident sloth named Pearl. Breakfast is delicious. The "secret path" to the beach is delightful. Several of Eric's recommendations were spot on! "This property is a doorway to nature's paradise. Being set in jungle with an open living theme there is nothing to not love about Congo bongo. The cry of howler monkeys at 4am followed by the jungle waking up to the evening cry of the toucan nature is all around. "Beautiful jungle atmosphere. Wildlife animals observed on the property. Great drinks at the bar. Breakfast buffet and dinner was delicious. Walking distance to the beach and other restaurants. The family cabin had a wonderful patio and hammocks. I would’ve preferred adults only. It was almost impossible to be in the swimming area near the wet bar with so many kids present. Most of the vendors on the beach only accepted colones. I would suggest you get money exchanged from the airport or the national bank in Costa Rica ATM does colones. Tips are accepted for room service and meals. Laundry was outstanding! We received our laundry same day service. "
