We selected this hotel primarily because of its location--it is a three-minute three dollar ride to the airport from the front gate. But I was pleasantly surprised with the facility. It was clean, spacious, and the staff were very attentive. It is a great choice for anyone needing to be near the airport.

This is a very convenient and clean hotel near the SJO airport. Unfortunately there was some construction for improvements around the pool but I think it’s worth while for this hotel in the future. Otherwise the staff is extremely nice, friendly, and attentive. The pool area, despite the construction, is very nice and relaxing. Rooms are clean and adequate but minimalist. You get comfortable beds shower gel, soap, shampoo, and a hair dryer but that’s it. No refrigerator in the room but staff held our empenadas in their fridge overnight. The hotel restaurant is good and serves Italian fare as well as delicious in season fruit (highly recommend!). There is also a local restaurant, La Casona Rio2, adjacent to the hotel that serves Costa Rican meals. It is delicious and they have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options! We highly recommend the bean empenadas that you can order to go!

It was clean and very close to the airport. The breakfast was good and the service there at the restaurant was excellent. Kind of weird that they offer a shuttle, but only to the airport and not from the airport to their hotel. The older gentleman that check us in the first night was very helpful, kind and professional. The younger man that checked us out in the morning was not friendly at all. We stayed here a second time ( the night before we flew home) an older woman checked us in and she was also not very friendly. If you need a place to stay close to the airport, I would recommend this place, but the front desk service is hit or miss

Very close to the airport. Wonderful breakfast. Very friendly staff and beautiful grounds including meditation room and pool. A bit noisy but understandable considering it’s right by the highway and airport. Right up the street from car rental place.

It’s a good airport hotel for late arrivals or early departures but that’s it . It’s on the main highway and there isn’t really anything to do there. But bedrooms are clean, beds are comfy and there is a free shuttle to the airport. Noise comes from the airport highway but earplugs help! Good value for money

Nice, quaint horel very close to the San Jose airport. Traffic in front of the hotel is horrific. Even inside our room we could hear the traffic and airplanes. Also a lot of talking and noise in the hallways outside our room late into the night. It was hard to get a good night's sleep due to the noise. The staff were terrific though. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were hard as a rock. The area around the hotel did not seem safe. I would consider staying there again for a night to catch an early flight due to its close proximity to the airport but I would definitely be sure to bring some earplugs.

Absolutely loved this place. I stayed only one day to be close to the airport after 10 days in Guanacaste and I was absolutely not disappointed at all. This place was very cute clean and the staff was great.

It is noisy, but of course, perfectly understandable as it is literally across the road from the airport runway. The negatives for this very nice little hotel are simply due to its convenient location near the airport, so no, there really isn’t anything to walk to or see near it. The property is pretty, has a nice pool and looks great at night. Finding some drinks to enjoy around the pool during the day is a challenge though. BYOB. And they have a very nice dog!
