Great Place to Stay and relax in San Jose.
So I got in at 10PM on a Friday. Dropped my bags and wanted to go hit a bar. Alexis gave me a place called Santos in the same area of Escazu. While taking an uber home, I left my phone in the uber upon getting back to the Hostel.
Alexis was so helpful the next day. He made sure to get in contact with the Uber driver as well as the bar owner. The uber driver did not find my Phone at first. I was literally on my way to my next destination a mile away in a taxi Alexis arranged and Alexis called him to tell him the uber driver had found my Phone.
I ended up staying two more nights. David, the Hostel Caretaker would cook dinner for us, we just bought the groceries. He puts it down in the Kitchen, especially with Italian style food. I got a few recipes from him and have been making them at home.
Fantastic property to stay at. Hammocks everywhere and a great pool with plenty of seating for multiple groups. If you are passing through before or after a flight, be sure to stay here. So relaxing. The staff and owners really envelop the spirit of Pura Vida. Family friendly if you get one of the one bedrooms. You can also get the four bunk dorm room for your Family.
I cannot thank Alexis enough for all of his help. He saved my trip.
