"Its a typical asturian stone house. The main atraction for us was the location , a hamlet with no more than 10 houses surrounded by mountains all overooked by the Pico Peñamallera . The house is spotless clean with a great fireplace and all the amenities you need."

"This is a nice apartment in a block of apartments that share a small pool. Other residents were friendly and the apartment is in walking distance of a couple of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Colombres is in a beautiful location with an interesting history and access to the mountains and beaches of Asturias. Communication with the owner was easy through the Vrbo app. We had to specify an arrival time so we could be let in. Unfortunately the flat had not been properly cleaned. The floors...

There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever! A welcome pack in the house giving info how things work, eg recycling, hot water, where to get firewood, and general info of places to visit would be good and perhaps a visitors comments book. Appreciated Mari, the housekeeper, help and cleaning very much. It’s a beautiful building with nice linens and very well located in the area."
