Sandpoint
House has three levels so lots of stairs; awkward with lots of ski gear. Utensils and cups mismatched and lowest quality No dishwasher so many utensils were unclean and had food baked on. General furniture is lowest grade available. Dust balls and dirt around on the floors so the clean-up needs to be more thorough. Owner very good on communication, and we did not raise any of these issues with her.

Just returned from an unforgettable stay at Mindy’s cottage, and it exceeded all expectations! The apartment, being brand new, was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and convenient stay.Location: The cottage is perfectly situated, allowing us to easily walk to the Farmers Market, City Beach, and a variety of charming restaurants and breweries.Amenities: Mindy has truly thought of everything. The queen bed was incredibly comfortable, the full kitchen and in-unit washer/dryer made our trip seamless, and the fireplace provided the perfect cozy ambiance for cool evenings. Mindy and David’s place is incredible, and having them as hosts made it an even BETTER experience. They are so kind, understanding, communicative and detail-oriented. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth. Whenever we needed anything or help figuring out appliances, they were on it. Their kindness and generosity towards us and our dogs is forever appreciated, and made an huge and positive impact on our busy weekend during a family wedding. Their space is so beautiful! The touches of design and intentionality is amazing and definitely was an upscale experience. It had everything we needed and more. It is in such a wonderful, quiet and convenient location, within walking or biking distance from everything that Sandpoint has to offer. We loved how bright, airy and cozy it all was. Their place felt like the perfect home away from home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being so kind, accommodating and generous with your beautiful space. Perfect Location for Lost in the Fifties
We came to Sandpoint to help out as volunteers for the Lost in the Fifties weekend. This was a perfect place to stay because we could walk to town and enjoy all the events. The “Sandpoint Cottage” was a great place to stay and the owners were great at communicating and responding to any questions that we had. We highly recommend this gem!

This was not a quiet cottage. Located in the alley it was not described and hadno private space for dogs. This was nicely built but it should have let the guest know it was three levels which made it a PAIN to bring in luggage. As soon as I drove in I was chased down by the neighbors dog who jumped the fence. Property owner was out of town and had dog/house sitter but this was not divulged. Instead automatic emails were sent saying they were right next door and would ensure a 5 start stay. Their own dog barked through the night and into the morning. Due to the owners absence she was unable to answer my emails attentively. She described that it was apparent their dog/house sitter was not doing their job which I did not see as my problem. I was unable to stay there for any point in time as anytime I was there the dog stayed in the back yard barking the entire time. I let Mindy know I should not have to pay to not be able to sleep and she was only willing to refund me all but the first two nights. Even though I let her know I did not sleep and could not even stand to be there due to her dog. I have still not seen a refund for the remainder of our stay and still do not believe we should have to pay for any of it. Worst experience ever!

Mindys cottage was very cozy and it had everything we needed. House location is central to everything in SandPoint. Bikes are a plus. Mindy was easy to communicate with and she made sure we were confortable. I would highly recommend her place!!

First time exploring the area- wish we had longer! Mindy & family have a beautiful space here and we enjoyed use of their bikes and recommendations for meals, sights, & hikes! Pack light since it’s 15 stairs to living room/ kitchen and another 15 stairs to bath & bedroom. (Where the TV is)
