"Went to SB for our daughters UCSB orientation. First, Esteban at the front desk was awesome. Helpful, informative, had suggestions for everything, and was incredibly friendly. We received a room upgrade to the penthouse which was HUGE! It was only one night but we could have stayed here for a week - even in a “regular” room. We brought our own e-bikes, but they had enough bikes for all the people that were staying there and we saw lots of guests using them. The happy hour with wine and cheese was nice, the breakfast was better than expected, and the building was quiet. It is walking or bike riding distance to the pier and the funk-zone. Breweries, wine tasting, fantastic food. One full day and we went to Brass Bear Brewing for a beer and shared a sandwich, then Three Windows for another beer, back to Brisas del Mar for a nap and happy hour, then SB FisHouse for their happy hour food for dinner - we recommend it! A great night sleep, breakfast at Brisas del Mar, bikes for a few hours then Brophy Bros for lunch. All incredibly crazy close to Brisas Del Mar! Already planning our next trip in January. Will definitely be staying here. Loved it!"
