Exterior of the hotel does not shine, but the room was a pleasant surprise. It was small, but originally had a double bed I'm sure. Now a king size that takes up a lot of space. This is what we asked for. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. If you have trouble with stairs, ask for ground floor. There is an elevator, but placement makes it awkward to use. Breakfast was good, fresh with choices and better than average coffee. Location was perfect for us. Close to Solvang with easy highway access. We travel frequently for pleasure and would recommend this Quality Inn.

The customer service was excellent. Matthew was very patient with me because I had a hard time with the room keys. It was my fault. I don't travel very often and not up with "the times". Breakfast was great and the gal working it had a smile on her face the whole time. I recommend Gino's pizza; it was excellent.

Room 504 gets a LOT of highway noise. You should definitely try to get a room overlooking the parking lot. Otherwise no complaints.

The price was right, as was the location. Easy access and a coffee/breakfast. Very fun day crew. Only the man who checked us in had NO personality and was quite rude. Bright green laser lights in the room hit the bed and drove me NUTS all night!

We stayed here because it was affordable and glad we did. Our visit was to see Solvang, we stayed in Buellton a few miles from Solvang and have zero complaints. It's an older, smaller, convenient place to stay and we would do it again.
