Best Hotel

Complete relaxation and paradise next to the ocean, steps away from the beach with a very comfortable room and bed. Staff were excellent and drinks were great. Massages were also wonderful. Only thing in need of improvement was the kitchen- the food was very mediocre and not well executed, and also took a very long time to come out anytime we ordered.

Beautiful and relaxing!

This place was incredible and perfect for a relaxing weekend! It is about 20 minutes away from the main city center so it’s quiet and secluded. Right on the beach! Food and drinks were good. Perfect place to just sun bathe by the pool.

A wonderful escape. Great facilities and rooms. Very peaceful. The onsite restaurant had very good food. It’s about 30 minutes from Puerto Escondido so be aware. The staff were kind and responsive. Only the most minor things we noticed - the pool got a little filmy from all the sun screen that didn’t get cleaned off somehow. Eating and drinking three meals a day plus cocktails added up. But I don’t think you can do better for a chill beach vacation that felt like luxury but was a price point attainable for us normal people.

Amazing beachfront luxury

Amazing luxury experience right on the beach. The service, food and amenities are all outstanding. This location is 20 minutes outside of the action of Puerto Escondido but we had no problem staying put for our 3 night stay. You also will have the beach almost to yourself. What a gem.

The place is even more beautiful in person. It is truly stunning. It is very quiet so it is perfect to relax and enjoy. The food is really good and the staff was extremely welcoming. I would definitely go back again.

What a great place for a secluded, relaxing stay. Great cocktails. Miles of quiet beaches. Interesting activities available (we took a boat trip to see the turtles and to the lagoon to see the bioluminescence).

Very relaxing cozy boutique hotel on a beautiful beach. Beautiful nature:where the desert meets the ocean. I enjoyed my morning walks, watching the surfers, the sun rises and the sunsets. The food and drinks are great, very nice staff and the property is gorgeous with a layback vibe, perfect to chill and relax. I particularly loved my beach front room with my beach outdoor area.

We had such an amazing time at Casa Yuma. The property is gorgeous and beautifully designed. It is facing the ocean. The staff is very attentive and so is the manager. The food is delicious. We would love to return.

Fantastic property!

WONDERFUL property. It’s about 20 min outside of Puerto Escondido so it’s sooooo tranquil and quiet. From dawn to dusk it was just serene. The bartenders were great, the restaurant was great. 10/10 my husband and I loved it! Keep up the good work Yuma!

I made a mistake when I booked the room for the 21st instead of the 20th, Expedia got me communication with casa Yuma and they agreed to allow me to change the reservation for the 20th like I needed, so we arrived at 4:40 pm and checked in, so manager at check in told me that the payment I made through Expedia which was 262.50 was declined and I questioned that and showed him on cc account that I was charged but either way I went ahead and paid not realizing he just charged my card for 320.00 for 1 night, so we checked in room was pretty warm at that time so me and my wife decided to go to pool and eat dinner at there restaurant, 3 hours later we return to our room and it wasn’t any colder, like we were laying in the bed and sweat coming off our bodies, so they told me to wait 20 minutes so they can try 2 more rooms after 30 minutes we went and checked the other 2 rooms and they still were not comfortable enough to sleep in, and for sure not for 320 dollars, so me and my wife left at 8:30pm to try to find another hotel with cold a/c if not we would sleep in the car, worst experience ever, I would not recommend anyone to visit this place unless it’s winter and no need for a/c , they did credit me the 320 for the 20th but due to Expedia cancellation policy they said they couldn’t refund payment I had made through Expedia, when they clearly allowed to changed the date by text message that’s why arrived on that day, regardless Casa Yuma lied to me regarding payment through expedi

Very stress free stay

Some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. The hotel is very small by now, but super clean, very minimalist architecture, calm and relaxing… we were only around 4 couples for the same days, and the attention was very personalized. My husband was stomach sick, and they prepared him special food, it was so nice! The room with terrace was pretty good to watch the starts during the night.
