"The initial room was super small and a bit smelly. Surely something you won't expect at a 4/5 stars hotel. They moved me to a better one after I complained and the lady responsible rudely told me that those were the rooms they give to people paying "lower rates" through systems such as hotels.com and that she would have moved me if I had booked through them directly but as they had to pay commissions to the website that was the room they offered. "Check in times listed are not correct, which would not be a problem unless your train was delayed which ours was. Office closes early at 7. The employees are wonderful. The bar and patio area are great. If you have kids, it’s a great place to stay. Close to the beach, shops, and food. There are plenty of things to keep your kids occupied. "After an arduous journey, it was a pleasure to arrive in such a hospitable place, particularly at 1:30 in the morning! The place has a very family feeling and feels quite loved. Our stay of 5 nights was without a single complication. We would definitely recommend for families our couples that enjoy watching from the quiet of their balcony. "We booked last minute and this hotel was wonderful. They gave us a complimentary upgrade to a slightly larger room. Everything was nicely maintained and super clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking on site. Easy walk to beach and town. Great, fresh breakfast. Internet was pretty good. Beach in July was crowded but well organized and clean. Town had nice shopping/dining district 10 minutes walk from the hotel."
