"We loved our stay — the hotel is beautiful, and our room was amazing. The breakfast was good and enjoyable. We did, however, miss having coffee available in the room, as it wasn’t easy to find nearby. It would also be wonderful if the hotel had a great bar on-site, so guests wouldn’t have to leave the property to enjoy excellent food and drinks."

"The hotel is lovely with great facilities and friendly staff. As with lots of Santa Marta great care is required when leaving the hotel after 7.30pm, although i didn’t see or experience any issues as used taxis to get around."

"Do not stay in Taganga. I am currently here and this is the most miserable night of all my travels. Taganga used to be a quiet fishing village, now full of drugs, prostitutes, and loud parties. At 2am on a Monday night, a super loud party just started next to this hotel. Music so loud is vibrating the hotel. Suspect a gang and prostitutes. I just want a taxi to get out of Taganga but I would be afraid to go outside. There are much nicer places to stay in Colombia. I don't recommend Taganga. "
