Staff members across the board extremely cordial and helpful. Easy and quick check in process. Room had some issues: TV across from bed didnt work very well (pixilateda lot and no Smart channel capability), light for the full length mirror area didnt work. But overall, enjoyed our stay immensely.

A Masterclass in Hospitality Gone Wrong After a month-long road trip in California, this hotel delivered the worst experience — and that’s quite an achievement. 1. Vacuuming at 9 PM? Because nothing says “welcome” like staff cleaning carpets at night. In 20 years of traveling the world, I’ve never encountered this innovative approach to guest comfort. I was trying to sleep — silly me. 2. Family-Friendly Pool? Not Exactly. Expedia promised an “outdoor pool” in the family-friendly section. But surprise! The pool is 21 only. No guests there, yet my kids couldn’t enter. Apparently, rules are rules. 2.1 Expedia: Maybe mention that detail next time? 2.2 Hotel: It’s a good idea to check what third parties are advertising on your behalf. Neither party took responsibility. But hey, at least the carpet was spotless by bedtime.

Beware! Unlike other tribal casinos Chumash is more of an adult only resort if you elect to stay at the hotel. Minors are not allowed to step onto casino grounds/flooring/walk through, NOT even while accompanied by parents/adults. MINORS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL!, even though it is advertised as family friendly pool. We were not able to enjoy a meal or even breakfast during our stay since you need to walk through the casino. If you book through Expedia hotel staff will refer you back to Expedia for any inquires. Expedia customer service is terrible. I will not return!

Was there for one night only but beautiful property. Had a spa treatment but unable to fully enjoy spa as a large party had essentially taken over the whole space and pool area so no opportunity to use.
