"A stunning character hotel very well maintained with a modern touch and great areas to sit and work or simply lounge about. Serving free 24x7 coffee, tea, water in a very nice lounge area. Complementary port is served in the bar area and in your room. Superb breakfast. Above all, Joaquim Rua and the team, in particular Generosa (hard to believe she is a trainee - not for long!) were absolutely amazing. We were so glad we chose this property after considering many others, and we can't wait to be back here."

"Lovely hotel, very smart and clean and helpful staff, good breafsst buffet with lots of options. The pool spa area is lovely but not masive, was fine for us as we stayed off season but imagine it would get very busy peak season, shame rooftop bar was closed in november, but good views from bar on 12th floor. The very fancy shops are 5 mins away, but centre of town is more like 20-35 mins away if like me you like a walk, if not bus/metro within 5-7mins so convenient if not the closest. Good sections of bars and restaurants about 10-15 mins away walking. "

"Beautiful hotel located in a fantastic area of Lisbon. Arrived at the hotel the first day of our 14-day Portugal trip, and immediately was greeted by an extremely nice front desk staff who quickly checked us in. The room was very clean with plenty of space, and clearly they have soundproofing the rooms as we heard no noise at night and slept great. Bathroom was excellent with a rain shower and extra large tub. The room service food was delicious. The workout room was well equipped, the pool was warm and clean, and the sauna was incredible after a long day of walking the beautiful city. The staff was extremely accommodating and made us truly feel like we were their most important guest. I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Lisbon, you will not be disappointed."
