HURRICANE UPDATE! 2 BR, BEACHY SPEAKEASY, by LIDO BEACH, in ST ARMAND'S CIRLCE

*St Armand's Circle is open to the public and we are repairing some flood damage to the lower downstairs hallway to the Beachy Speakeasy. The unit itself, did NOT get water inside as it is up 2 small flights of stairs. We will be replacing the washer and dryer, and after the water damaged areas are dry and we confirm that no mold is present, we will replace drywall and baseboards downstairs, & then paint everything to make it better than before! During this time, new upgrades and repairs are happening within the unit and the rooftop deck! Stay tuned for updated pics and video once everything is complete. We have blocked all dates between now and when the repairs will be complete. So if a date is available to book, please feel free to instant book or send a message for inquiry. We are happy to answer any questions you may have! We are located in St Armand's Circle on top of a retail store. As of September 29th, some of the barrier islands are open like Siesta Key (the beach is open for public use but there are sands on road and the pavilion is closed there. Also, alot of businesses will still be closed on Siesta Key as repairs happen). St Armand's Circle is open to access but very few businesses are open. Some will open in a week or 2. Some will take longer to re-open. Lido Beach is open and on the 29th of September, I was there and took pics and video - there were alot of people enjoying the beach. Water quality is good too! Longboat Key remains currently closed while repairs happen. We are waiting to confirm access to Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach and Anna Maria Island. However, Sarasota and Bradenton plus surrounding areas on the mainland are open and you can enjoy everything like restaurants and shopping. Downtown Sarasota is vibrant and businesses are staying busy! We will update this once we have more info*

Parking? Fear not! While dedicated parking isn't available, fret not, as the Beachy Speakeasy is a haven for pedestrians and Uber aficionados. Want to bike around? Use our provided bikes (or rent electric scooter sand bikes), beach gear, and even a trusty beach wagon for a hassle-free time at the shore without the parking fuss.

Ah, transportation! Explore the area with ease—the a free trolley whisks you from St Armand's Circle to Downtown Sarasota and beyond. And if wheels are your preference, plenty of nearby free and paid parking spots await.

Back at your cozy retreat, lounge in the main living area with a comfortable blue velvet sofa futon, 2 blue velvet chairs, and coastal-themed accents. Head out to the rooftop deck for morning coffee and breakfast, lunch or dinner & evening drinks on our new patio dining table with 4 chairs under the twinkle lights. You can also enjoy sun-soaked relaxation, rooftop yoga (mats provided!), or even a small workout with free weights. We have an Astroturf area with 2 lounge chairs an umbrella and a side table/ice chest for soaking up the sun and another sitting area with Astro-turf flooring, a small wicker loveseat, 2 chairs and a small center table.

Ready for a restful slumber? The primary bedroom boasts a luxurious memory foam queen bed, hotel style sheets, beachy comforters, 4 pillows, 2 extra seating areas, a smart streaming tv, smart speaker, wireless chargers and usb ports for corded charging of your electronic devices, alarm clocks, luggage racks, and rolling clothing racks with robes available for your use. If you like them you can buy them through Amazon. The second bedroom offers equal comfort without a window, perfect for those serene lie-ins. It does feature a mirrored wall, smart tv, smart speaker, luggage rack, and clothing rack with robes as well, but it does not have extra seating areas.

Hungry or in need of a caffeine fix? The well-equipped kitchen has you covered with a drip coffee pot, Vertuo Nespresso machine (with frother), and all the essentials to whip up a meal or a delightful brew.

Need to catch up on work? A dedicated workspace equipped with a chair, laptop desk and a printer/scanner is at your service.

The bathroom? Small, but very adequate, with a walk-in shower and single spacious vanity! Stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and soap, hairdryer, flatiron, and more because we've got your back, even if you forget the essentials!

**Regarding Location & Entry** : It's true, our blue door resides in an unexpected locale between dumpsters and trash cans from neighboring retail stores and restaurants. Our entrance is located on the rear side of the building. We're drawing inspiration from hidden speakeasies, bringing a touch of adventure to your stay. Rest assured, you are in a safe and in a nice neighborhood that's a well lit area. We strive for transparency so you know exactly what to expect before stepping foot in this vibrant retreat!

**No central heat available but we have space heaters to use if you need them during the cold evenings (We've only had them used by a few guests when temps at night/early morning was below 50 degrees F)

**There is no pool on the property but there is an outdoor pool located on Lido Beach for a small daily fee.
