"We loved our stay here and would recommend it for a couple of novelty nights. The treehouse is great for a family adventure, but do bear in mind the height and stairs. The location is beautiful and quiet in the middle of woodland. The treehouse is built around the tree (which grows through the room) and supported on stilts rather than harming the tree. "The house was a really special place to stay with beautiful rooms and fantastic facilities. Despite the cool, damp weather outside, the house was lovely and warm with easily controllable radiators - a really pleasant surprise in such an old building. "the bed was a sofa bed although the mattress was ok every time we moved it made load squeaking noise the large entrance gates were attached to our outside wall so every time they were used it felt like the wall was moving and a very loud banging noise some gest returned after midnight some left early about 6 Am the location we good, only a short walk to the restaurants, and near the steps to the chateaux there was free parking in the street"
