"The house was a really special place to stay with beautiful rooms and fantastic facilities. "Owners/hosts made us very welcome and on hand to help when required. Cottage was ideal for what we were looking for - self contained, quiet, private, secure parking and great base for cycling both sides of the Loire and very quiet back roads. Very large garden space front and back was a bonus. All made it an excellent weeks stay. "

The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

"The hosts for this amazing property are exceptionally helpful with reservations, communications, and suggestions about area. We also had a tour and history of the property. Our house was very well equipped, beds comfortable , baths beautiful. It was very clean, and charming. You are on a wonder bike/walking path, and near a small village for supplies as well as the lovely town of Chinon. We certainly hope to return."

"the bed was a sofa bed although the mattress was ok every time we moved it made load squeaking noise the large entrance gates were attached to our outside wall so every time they were used it felt like the wall was moving and a very loud banging noise some gest returned after midnight some left early about 6 Am the location we good, only a short walk to the restaurants, and near the steps to the chateaux there was free parking in the street"
