"The room was exceptionally clean -- no dust even in high places. Comfortable lodging. The closet was ridiculously small however. Breakfasts were very good. And every member of the staff we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the afternoon wine and cheese. Located very close to shops and restaurants downtown."

"Was disappointed for a few things we expect when we stay at a Hampton Inn. They did not have a king size bed, just one queen size that was softer than normal. Secondly, the variety for breakfast was more limited than usual. Lastly, they normally provide shampoo and conditioner but this one only provided shampoo and body wash."

"Loved the decor- room and all around the hotel. Bright and cheery. High ceilings in rooms made them seem even more spacious. Beds are incredibly comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Breakfast had lots of selection and plenty of it. Easy access to highway. "

"Front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. Very clean and nicely decorated property. Plenty of hot coffee and bottled water on hand. Breakfast options are numerous although dining room is a bit chilly. A good experience/value overall."

"It was great to find a hotel close to Asheville that had water and power. They have a restaurant on site with a great bartender. Food was delicious. The area is still torn up with a bunch of downed trees, but the main building was clean and quiet. Check in was a bit of a hassle but the staff there was quick to help. Will certainly stay there again as I am working the hurricane damages and will be back. "

"I stayed during the hurricane and the hotel was accommodating and clean. The surrounding area was safer after the damage compared to most of Asheville. We did lose water, power, wifi, and service which wasn’t their fault, but I wish they wouldn’t have charged me so much for that extra night"

"We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. "

Senior Couples outing

"A group of 5 couples has been getting together for 5 years. The group was very happy with the accommodations. since we are all over 70, it was good to have most of the bedrooms on the main floor and easy access from the parking area. There were just a few things that we thought would make it almost perfect. The shared bathroom on the main floor should have safety handles installed with the bath tub. Since there are 5 couples bringing in food (we always bring too much), it would have been nice to have a shelf installed on the wall opposite of the kitchen bar to put extra items on. Since this was within the first month of Hurricane Helene, it was touch and go about accessibility, but at the end, we were so glad to be able to get together. Hendersonville was great and we think that businesses were glad that people were coming to the area. Yonder property management were great about getting back to us about any concerns before we arrived and after we were there. "

"The cottage was fine for us to visit with my dog, and it was well located for trips to Asheville and Laurel Park. Everything was as stated on VRBO and we enjoyed our stay."
