"We booked Thoresby Guest House as it was within 20 mins walking distance of Scarborough Open Air Theatre. We were given a warm welcome by Deania, manager of the Thoresby and shown our room. It was perfect for our needs. We had a view of the North Bay and a really comfy bed. Deania showed us a couple of other rooms in the morning as we checked out. There are room options for all party sizes. Thanks for a lovely stay. We would definitely book again. "

"Hotel is very old,strong smell of damp in corridors, food was disgusting not of good quality, cold and no variation of different foods, cakes were realy supposed to be sponge cakes they were all wet and sloppy,not worth the money, room was ok,windows needed washing full of bird muck couldnt see out off them,,would go again if i had the same room "
