Relaxing
We were a group of 4 ladies in LaGrange for a meeting. The location was remote and very relaxing. Check in info is a little off, no automatic gate so no gate code needed. Cleanliness was ok but was not at level expected for the price. Shower heads appeared to be clogged with mineral deposits affecting water pressure. Beds were comfortable and furnishings were very nice.

Very relaxing country cottage
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the house in La Grange. The house was clean and cozy. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning and evening, listening to the birds. We took a fun ride through the pasture in the ATV, and even did a little fishing in the pond. The house was just a quick drive away from Schulenburg for our tour of the painted churches. It worked out perfectly for our visit.

Wonderful, relaxing stay!
Highly recommend, great fun for a family of all ages. Relaxing and peaceful, with beautiful trees and wide open spaces. Pool a lovely addition, solo stove had plenty of wood, house very clean and tidy, and the ATV was a fun way to see the property. Look forward to a return visit!

Great house with a nice porch. Need to put actual steps and a handrail onto the deck; the current setup is a bit dangerous as there is just a narrow landscape brick to step up on. House was very comfy and well suited for our group of five. There are TV's in every room, but the listing fails to mention that you can't watch anything unless you bring your own stick/passwords, etc for streaming. Very convenient to the painted churches.

Having small children with a pool was very stressful and the pool was not in the description. The tv in the master bedroom didn’t work and we tried calling the property several times but didn’t hear from anyone. We ran out of toilet paper and also called the property but never heard back. The property was beautiful but the management lacked!

We enjoyed our visit and the wedding festivities that brought us to Weimar. The dog that greeted us was very friendly and the adult kids enjoyed him. It was much nicer to have a house to meet at over a hotel.

We enjoyed the ranch setting with all the cows and the very friendly dog we called Duke for lack of knowing. House was nicely appointed, beds were comfortable and house was clean except for calcium deposits on all dishes cups and silverware. Silverware was rough feeling in mouth. Shower heads were clogged with calcium and very few holes allowed water to pass thru. Shower handle in one bath came off in hand.

Sweet little farmhouse
Very lovely, quaint farmhouse, clean, nice upgraded finishes. It was perfect for our family. The porch was a perfect hangout with all the chairs and loved the French doors opened up to allow the kids to come and go. The house was well stocked with all the basics needed. The property was beautiful and the cows visited every evening for their watering hole. The neighbor dog hung out as well outside the gate. He was very friendly and seemed to just want to be with people. We will definitely try and come again.

Great Country Getaway
We very much enjoyed our stay on the ranch. This short getaway had everything we hoped for and more -> views, sunsets, pool, front porch with rocking chairs, land to explore, cows, sweet neighbor dogs, and miniature donkey’s, fast communication with John & plenty of space for 11 of us! Make sure the propane is stocked and you have check-in procedures ahead of time and all will be well!

Great place for a country getaway!
We had an amazing time at this property! It was stocked with pretty much everything you need for a lovely country weekend. We were so surprised upon arriving that there is now a pool on the property! It was clean, bed was comfy, and most of all it was quiet. Of course, it’s in the country so there are bugs, but you just have to live with them. There are 2 dogs (I’m guessing one of the neighbors) that were with us pretty much our entire stay. They were the sweetest. If you have dogs and bring them out here, just know they will probably be around but are super nice.
