"We stayed for 9 nights for a working holiday. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in any part of the world. From the minute we stepped foot into the hotel the service was outstanding. The place is immaculate and the amenities phenomenal. We ate at the hotel several times and the food was excellent. The area is safe and has lots of lovely restaurants nearby. One of the highlights was sitting at Harvey’s Bar watching the sun go down with other guests and local capetonians."

"Unfortunately, a bad experience. Our hotel room was in an unacceptable condition. Various issues including the closet doors, poor AC, drawers coming off, etc, etc. I was told that the hotel was going through remodeling. They offered a refund which they never did after two months of following up with them. Enough said. : ("

"The Hyde offers a great view of the coast at their roof top dining bar and pool side, the staff make you feel like family and you can not beat the location local services and safe community. as is in any stay sometimes there are challenges I found management quick to respond and they went above beyond to give us an amazing stay.
