This was my first stay with Clayton hotels. First impressions are were good ,reception was big,clean and welcoming. Staff on reception helpful and friendly. My room was really nice, clean and spacious. Had everything that I would need for my stay. Only problem I had was with the TV every time it was turned off when it went back on it was muted and had to be reset each time which was a bit of an inconvenience. So I just ended up keeping it on. Breakfast was lovely enough selection for a good breakfast with some pastries and cheeses also. Overall a lovely stay and staff were always friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again or at another Clayton hotel.

Good room with enough space to move around but little if you want to unpack a suitcase. Good bed. Okay bathroom, new tiles and sink, heated mirror, but the bathtub was old and slightly worn. Shower was tricky to operate. No soap provided only "hand wash". Common areas were very good.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, the neighborhood had all the amenities, plus a nice walk on the beach. Very safe as it is basically Embassy row for Dublin.

Although not in the City Centre, this hotel is conveniently located to get around the city quite easily.

Room was filthy, old and electrically unsafe. Despite booking on Expedia, the hotel failed to honour my booking and I had to pay 60euro more (chargeback has been opened). Staff were unfriendly and often rude. This is a 2 star hotel at best, would not recommend. Suggest trying the hotel directly adjacent.

A very nice property with on-site dining and bar facilities. Courteous staff. Walking distance to other dining or pub options. A bit more of a walk to the downtown core. We did have noisey neighbours that hotel staff reportedly tried to deal with. We had minor problem with the magnetic room key caused some inconvenience, but otherwise had a very good stay at the Clayton Ballsbridge Hotel.
