"We had never experienced a winter getaway before and we are so pleased with our first experience here at the Grand Tapatoo. Our room had a very comfy King sized bed and a great outdoor balcony for storing our cooler. We really enjoyed the fireplace and watching the snow fall outside our window while looking out at the frozen lake. The staff went over and above! When our coffee maker wasn’t working, Heather immediately came to our building with a new coffee maker and two freshly brewed...

"Unfortunately when we got to the hotel, it is no longer called Super 8 and the reservation that I made I made in March was not transferred over to the new hotel owners. So there was NO reservation for us - luckily they had room. Please change over the name and info to the new hotel to alleviate any challenges. "

"Our family had a fun time at this beautiful cottage. We made good use of the watercraft available and enjoyed soaking up the sun on the dock. Our grandsons especially loved the fooseball table and pinpong table. There were even girl toys that our granddaughter played with. We have a large family so it was a challenge trying to fit refrigerated items in the one kitchen frig. Availability of a bar frig would have been a help. Towels are provided which is great but explaining on the cottage website...
