"the location was great ,it was a warm and cozy cabin we had a great time but had to leave early because of the incoming snow storm."

"The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily...

There was a gas fireplace that was just absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped, washer and dryer a plus! View was good for sunset and sunrise. There was a super friendly cat as well and sheep and a donkey! Located a reasonable distance from several parks and hikes, groceries and supplies not far. We will definitely come again!"

"The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up. Weve returned several times.

"Weve stayed her many times. We have enjoyed it and been quite comfortable each time as well. There is only one thing about each room, the beds slide away from the wall very easily. Its not a big deal but maybe consider something under the mattress to keep tbem in place."
