"We stayed in a standard room - King bed for 7 nights while staying in Barbados for the Australia V West Indies test cricket. We loved our accommodation. Our room was on the second floor overlooking one of the pools plus we had beach views. It was modern and clean. The hotel arranged a shuttle for all guests going to and from the cricket each day. This was fabulous! Earl and Dave (our drivers) were both legends. The shuttle cost 20 BBD pp. I loved that we had an actual laundry - not an expensive laundry service - (but instead a shared washing machine and dryer on our floor) that we could use without payment. We used it several times - there's a clothes rack in the room for drying clothes on your balcony. The kitchenette was well equipped - a decent sized fridge and freezer (which was great for freezing waters for each day at the cricket), toaster, kettle, coffee machine (no instructions for how to work it though) crockery and glassware. The room was spacious, and the balcony was perfect after a long hot day at the cricket. Local buses (we only used the yellow ones) are literally at your doorstep for only $3.50 BBD pp in each direction (no matter where you get off). We caught them regularly to check out Bridgetown, Holetown...A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost around $70USD from memory - what I loved was the fixed pricing chart at the airport. The hotel has an awesome bar on site and a little store. Although, for groceries just take a local bus to the supermarket. "

"If you are trying to decide between the Marriott properties- this is definitely the best (more to open soon though). The beach is beautiful and there is great snorkeling if you follow the rope on the left side over the reef. We stayed in a split ocean view - incredible view. The adults pool is beautifully landscaped and feels very special (even had monkey activity). The staff is the best part of the stay - they genuinely want your stay to be top notch- shout out to Ether, Astrid, Tamisha and Raquel…book this hotel now - you will not regret it!"

Every detail, from the beautifully elegant room to the overall ambiance of the property, exuded class and sophistication. The food was amazing—especially the dinners, which were truly exceptional. Each night featured a new menu, and we even had the opportunity to speak with the chef to share how phenomenal everything was. We also spent some time at the spa, which was exactly what we needed for our couples’ rejuvenation week. Above all, the entire team excelled in hospitality. Their graciousness, attentiveness, and warmth made them a sheer joy to be around. A special mention goes to Pat for the incredible omelets and conversation each morning, and to Kwesi for always making sure we had everything we needed by the pool. The staff truly made us feel at home—like part of the family. We absolutely loved our time here and are already looking forward to coming back!"

"The house is amazing, overlooked the coast, there is lots of room and the pool is just a bonus. The host is quick to respond when needed. A car is a must but to see the island it’s a given. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next year. Would highly recommend!!"

"The property far exceeded our expectations! Brand new, super clean, modern furniture, & totally comfortable! And the host could not have been nicer! She was so accommodating & responsive to all of our requests. All the rooms are spacious, sunny, bright & airy, with an excellent breeze throughout the living area, with minisplit A/Cs & ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The balcony terrace is lovely (gets sun in the morning & afternoon), and nice view of the ocean from the living/dining rooms. Location just outside of Holetown is central & convenient to everything on the island. We rented a car & explored different beaches every day. I highly recommend this property & cannot wait to come back!"

"House is just as pictures show, located in a quiet neighborhood. Beds very comfortable and AC in bedroom was excellent. Able to open double doors to front porch for breezes without worries and minimal to no bugs. Gate at end of driveway for extra security. We have stayed at a variety of locations in Barbados prior to this home and recommended to owners that a few more amenities were needed which they provided (coffee pot-provided a small 4 cup, blender, hand and bath towels).TV in both living room and bedroom were not functioning properly and they did come out to rectify- could use printed directions.Following items need to be noted:- no light blankets for beds- toaster not fully functional (half of it did not stay down)- one burner on stove not functional- attempt at taking a bath in master resulted in water all over floor- seems to be a leak in system- broken shower holder in master bath- limited kitchen supplies (ie. no spices, not even salt or pepper, sugar, cooking oil, tinfoil, plastic wrap, variety of cooking utensils, storage containers, mixing/ storage bowls)-limited toilet paper to just one roll in each bath, no other paper products (ie paper towels, napkins).These were minor inconveniences as overall our stay at this location was perfect for traveling to the various beaches and sights we liked to visit. We did have a car and did not use mass transit."

"Had a great 2 weeks in this lovely Villa with a great pool close to all the West coast of Barbados has to offer. Great service from the owner Dee and the house manager Paulette. Very reasonably priced too. We will be back!"
