"My wife and I stayed at the Elms for a one night stay as a birthday treat. The hotel is a beautiful building set in pretty park grounds. There was ample parking. Check-in staff were brilliant! We have discovered the hotel charged a guest for two meals - despite the meals being paid for in advance. "Although we arrived later than anticipated the staff could not have been more helpful. The polite young man on duty showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, having everything we needed for our stay, including a comfortable bed. Our evening meal was excellent, with a varied menu to choose from.
