A basic but clean hotel that was perfectly located for the area of Sheffield I was visiting. Rooms are relatively small but for one/two nights are fine, hotel staff are friendly and helpful and it is excellent value. Don't expect ultra luxury or lots of facilities but would definitely use again.

Nice local neighbour hotel recently renovated. Room was quite compact, but was advertised as such so was not a surprise. Was very clean and comfortable which was all I was looking for. Would stay again. Didn’t need to speak with the staff much at all, but whenever I did they were very helpful and polite.

Comfortable stay, friendly staff, clean and well-maintained. Bed was a bit hard for my liking (but maybe that’s personal preference) and there was a decent bit of road noise. Bathroom was nice. Good location near Eccles hall road and not too expensive!

After I accidentally left the hotel key in my room, I was locked out when I arrived back after 11pm. Fortunately there was a number on door, and after calling I was back in the room within a few minutes without any hassle. It was much appreciated.

Everything is good except front doors are closed at night. Has to call staff to open it. Would be more convenient if it's opened with our key...etc...

Overall, the stay was good. The bed was comfortable, the shower adequate, and the towels were big and fluffy. We had a good night's sleep, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Two things for consideration. One was that the only mirror in the room was a small one in the bathroom with poor additional lighting. There were no other mirrors in the bedroom area, and there was nowhere to plug in a hairdryer or any other hairstyling equipment. The other thing is that it would have been more pleasing to the eye if there had been a picture on at least one of the walls, as it made the otherwise quite nice room soulless.

A very unusual, and singularly unique hotel with much to commend it. The welcome was wholesome and kind. I received help to my room with my luggage. The room was ok. A little tight, but well appointed and suitable for use. Clean, freshly decorated, well-appointed bathroom, excellent shower, etc. The bar area was buzzy with activity and the service was second to none. The drinks were great and the food was excellent.

Couldn't fault the staff and service we received. A little disapointed the restaurant only served small tapas sharing plates. We enjoyed what we did have but wiuld have preferred an option for a main meal.
