"We had a lovely stay. Relaxed and fun. Staff super friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Only dropped a star as we had a main course and shared a pudding which took over 2hrs all in all. We laughed about it, I can only assume there was a drama in the kitchen and that's 2hy we waited so long. Still, doesn’t put us off, we'd stay again "

Our room was spotless and cloud‑soft, with countryside views that drew us onto the estate’s miles of walking trails. Between strolls we dipped into the airy indoor pool and the outdoor Jacuzzi that faces rolling fields. Dinner was a highlight: a perfectly creamy risotto, capped by the staff gathering to sing “Happy Birthday.” Later that evening, the bar surprised me with a complimentary signature...
