"We really liked the gated dog area. It’s a very short walk to the river. Both dogs liked the swimming, Rosie batted around acorns, chewed on acorns, barked at the deer, she got car sick both directions going up and down the narrow windy road. Yes we would stay here again. Oh, the cabin has everything!!!"

"Absolutely beautiful home in a great area. Had a girls weekend and the host was amazing, however the house was quiet dirty. Showers had not been cleaned in some time, mold in the coffee maker (which the host offered to replace) and dusty counters. I would highly recommend staying here once the cleaning staff takes care of the house. "

"I stayed here with 2 of my adult children. We were just craving some time in nature to hang out, eat good food and be cozy. :) Nice clean cabin, thoughtfully appointed, a wood burning stove and lots of big trees gave us everything we wanted. We stopped at Apple hill and picked up a pie and browsed a little in Placerville. Lots of scenic places nearby but for this trip, we were just ccntent to chat by the fire and munch on charcuterie. "

"- There was a gas leak at the furnace requiring heater to be shut off - Hot tub water was green on our arrival - Lights in the outdoor bar weren’t working - Lighting on outdoor staircase werent working (we had to unload our suitcases down dark stairwell) - Owner was quick to respond but only partially addressed issues. He sent someone to clean hot tub but she came after dark and we never saw her. No one checked in with us to explain why water had been green or explain what was done to ensure...

"The cabin is just as pictured, cozy and inviting, perfectly comfortable for my family. Groceries is just 5 minutes away, Apple Hill 20 minutes and Sly Park just amazing also 5 minutes away. Christine was quick and responsive to any questions we had about the cabin and area. The cabin is very modern, everything digital so just need to be prepared to using your phone to unlock doors and such. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this lovely guest cottage! So much nicer than staying in a hotel, and a quick drive to stores and restaurants. It was really clean, inviting, and the decor was great! I could tell that the owners had fun designing it. All the comforts of home, quiet, and tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. Comfy beds and pillows, a backyard. All the pans/utensils we needed for cooking, a washer and dryer. The coffee was awesome! Nice touches like reading lamps, and clear instructions....
