"Terrible experience: shower is tiny and water floods everywhere. Two dead bugs in it. Pillows are small and extremely thick, as the mattresses are. It was impossible to sleep properly. AC working very badly: noisy and leaking water on our heads while trying to catch sleep. We left after one day, despite 5 night booking. Not nice losing the money, but we didn’t want to have our vacation ruined. Expedia agent was very kind and efficient to help us, we can’t say the same with the property owner....
"Very nice property, with nice pool. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment as to the food, however, breakfast was good. Popular with millenials (couples and young families). We were by far the oldest guests there but we enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the staff for a nice stay. "
"5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....
"The beach was wonderful- always able to access loungers. The hotel is kept nicely but would benefit from more dining options, variety of foods. I agree with a previous review- one key card per room is not feasible when traveling with a family and the card controls electricity within your unit. "

"We stayed in a beautiful corner apartment with views on Kalogria Beach which were breathtaking day and night. The apartment has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable and spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. What stands out for us is the warmth and hospitality of host Giota who welcomed us at the properly on our late arrival, was available and responsive in our communication and cheerfully provided advice and guidance.
