Family skiing weekend
We've been visiting Snowshoe for several years and this was one of the nicest condos we have stayed in. Also, the first time staying at Silver Creek. Spacious, extremely neat, and clean with attention to detail. Two thumbs up!

Nice condo at Silver Creek. Newly renovated. Next to slopes and snow tubing. Kids loved the snow. The condo has WiFi, but there is no mobile service around the building. Great if you are looking to disconnect....

Check-in was smooth & easy, apartment was spotless and had everything one could need for a vacation. While the facilities downstairs at Silver Creek are run-down and reek of greasy fried foods, the apartment itself was pleasant, fresh & clean. Nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. Quiet with balcony on the backside of the building. Washer and dryer! Kitchen had all one would need to prepare meals for our stay. Full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave & coffee-maker with dishes, utensils, & cookware. The 5th floor location gave us simple access via elevator to ski rentals,Silver Creek ski lifts, pools & hot tubs, sports bar, gift shop, and the free shuttle bus to Snowshoe ski runs. We skied Saturday at Silver Creek and Sunday at Snowshoe and Cup Run. We really enjoyed our getaway weekend! Thanks to our host, Frank!

Frank was very nice to work with and kind. The unit was beautiful. Couldn't ask for a nicer place. When we got there on Thursday the unit was so hot that you would smother to death. Mention it to the owner and he kinda blew it off and said it was suppose to be 59 up there well it felt like 80 in the Condo. So we opened the windows as far as you could get them which wasn't very far. Neither me or husband slept that night because it was so hot. So in the middle of the night I went to bathroom and felt water dripping on my head. So I sent the owner a message and told him about the leak and that we was about to smother to death. The info on VRBO shows it has AC and it does not. That is false advertisement. The owner told me there was a portable unit in the closet but they didn't normally put them out until August. Oh my goodness it was so hot in the unit. So the maintenance man came to see about the leak and he said oh my it feels like 80 in here. He got the portable unit out and hooked it up so it did cool off some. Like I said the unit itself is awesome. But oh my the heat and no air was horrible. I walked the floors that night smothering.. From now on I will ask if the AC is a central unit, big wall unit or a portable. All and all I think we should have been offered some money back since it said it had air and didn't.. But we was not offered nothing. Also you have to strip your bed and take out your garbage. I don't know why you pay a house keeping fee when you have to do that. I have stayed many of Condo's and never had to do that.

Cass Train Getaway Adventure
We had never been to Snowshoe and wanted to see it. It was a perfect distance from the Cass Train and Ski Resort was getting ready for the season to begin! I totally see why everyone loves the area! We enjoyed ourselves! Thank you!

Fabulous!!
We had to make a last minute cancellation and re-booking due to schedule changes. Fortunately this Silver Creek condo was available. We had stayed at Silver Creek several times past and had... "managed expectations," but we were not prepared to be BLOWN AWAY by this amazing gem of a condo. It was like walking down the hall in the 80s and entering 2022 at the door threshold! The owner was very responsive and helpful, everything was absolutely perfect upon check-in, and having such a convenient place next to SC and minutes to SS was such a bonus. I hope to book this condo again in the future and highly recommend this listing.

Super Clean and Stylish Condo
This unit was great. We visited during the summer for a GNCC Racing Event and this condo was perfect for our family. The owner was super responsive and great to deal with. The condo was decorated beautifully and had a great amount of space. Would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations
We all had such a phenomenal time. Some items that were pleasant surprises: * Black out blinds in master (much needed when we arrived at 2 am) * Smart outlets * Dimmable lights beside master bed * Dimmable lights in kitchen * Clean! * Split floor plan for privacy * Vizio TV mirroring from smartphone * Good use of space * Soft close toilet lids and drawers * Good water pressure and HOT water * Faster internet speeds than some local places * Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows * Two pull outs in LR I’m sure I’m forgetting some things as the room experience was perfect. Designer finishes, maintained very well. Only GOOD surprises here! We went in off season (visiting family) so amenities and activities were minimal. We did enjoy the pool—I was able to sit on the balcony and watch the kids while they were at the exterior side of the pool. One lacking area, as I do not go for the slopes, I was hoping to keep up with an exercise regimen while away from home, but the Fitness Center leaves something to be desired. Only broken equipment, and a couple odd free weights. Not a huge deterrent as I’m probably one of the only ones staying there that’s not exhausted from outside activities but I wish I’d had known I needed to figure something else out for exercise.

Weekend Away
We were able to book the condo last minute. The owner was very responsive and helpful with our booking. He went above and beyond for us actually. The condo itself is updated and overlooks the pool and mountain with a beautiful view. The beds were comfortable as well as the couch. There was an electric fireplace which gave off extra heat as well as provided a nice ambience. The kitchen had everything we needed. Honestly a really wonderful stay. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much for accommodating us!
