"The house exceeded all of our expectations. The location is outstanding - right on a bluff overlooking the beach and ocean - and right between the park leading down to the beach and a set of stairs to the sand. When you enter the home, the view of the ocean through the wall of glass in the back will take your breath away - it's that awesome. Other than sleeping in the house, we spent most of our time out back on the deck, listening to the ocean waves and watching the activity on the beach below. In the morning, the deck is shaded and it is an ideal place to have breakfast and coffee. In the afternoon, you can sun bathe on the deck. And after watching incredible sunsets, you can spend a few hours sipping a glass of wine and socializing in the cool ocean breezes. As far as the interior of the house - it's better than in the photos - very modern, high tech and high quality from the fixtures to the finishes and furniture - everything is perfect. Oh - and both beds are very comfortable - we all slept soundly every night. If you have a dog (like we did), the entire property is walled off and secure. Finally, you can walk down the street to the "main drag" in Solana Beach where you will find shopping and restaurants - very convenient. And the house is about an 8 minute walk from the main park where there was a concert on Thursday night - very nice! Overall, I would say that this is one of the top three properties that we have rented in the last 20 years (out of about 60."
