"This property was amazing to stay at. The rooms are cute little cabins, with a very comfortable bed and two nightstands. Very minimalistic but it’s all you need and waking up to an unobstructed sunrise view of the volcano on Lake Atitlan. "Great views of Lake Atitlan from our balcony! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Included breakfast was delicious and though we didn't eat dinner here, heard from other guests that it was great. Property was a short tuk-tuk ride from Panajachel. They also provided local recommendations for food, tours, sight seeing and even a local tuk-tuk driver which we could message through Whatsapp that made it quick and easy to get a ride when needed. "Absolutely love Casa Palopo and so glad we decided to stay here during our trip to Lake Atitlan!! The views are amazing and the service and kindness the staff showed us was outstanding. They staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We had NO issues with communication or hot water in our rooms. So I'm really surprised by the other reviews left. The restaurant in the hotel was lovely and they were happy to accommodate to my food allergies with no problems!!! We found the location we'll worth the views of the lake and Volcanos. And easy walk to Satana Catarina, a beautiful local village. Easy Tuk tuk transport to get to Panajachel for more restaurants, shopping and transport by boat to other towns across the lake. I highly recommend this boutique hotel!!"

"The hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We had issues with the internet connection in our room the first two days, but they got it rectified. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay there again if we go to Panajachel. "

"The view was beautifully from every corner of the property. I would definitely recommend. We arrived a lil late, so the restaurant was closed. We were given an option to order room service, but were then told the kitchen was actually closed. The good thing is that the rest of the town was a short drive & we were able to easily eat outside of the hotel. We also requested a boat service from a near by town. We had to pay a dock fee. Everything else was amazing. "

"From the moment we arrived; we enjoyed every second there. The hotel is on a private property so the only ones at the hotel are the employees and the guest so we felt safe. The hotel is so beautiful; they really keep the concept of the Oasis by not having wifi and tv so the guest can literally just enjoy the view; the sound of all the birds; and just relax without the distractions of technology. The food… omg it was AMAZING. We tried every single option on the menu and we were blown away. Everything was delicious including the hot chocolates. If you let Alexis do her thing; you won’t be disappointed cause she knows what she is doing with the food and drinks. Jose; one of the employee there is the man! He took care of us from the moment we landed until we left. Very kind man; he answered all of our questions about Guatemala Culture and always made sure we felt at home. Overall we loved it here and definitely will be coming back. We enjoyed it; from meeting the hotel pets; from getting to know the employees to just enjoying the oasis; we loved it. "
