"We so appreciated being right on the water and enjoyed the view from each room in the house! The sunsets were magnificent! The owner was available and responsive to the couple of questions we had. We cooked our meals and the kitchen had all that we needed. The hot tub and sauna were enjoyed at the end of each day for a relaxing moment. "Villa Oleanna is magical. The view from the room, the view from around the property is amazing and mesmerizing. The rooms are terrific, the entire property is wonderful. And the proprietors are caring, warm and everything one would want in a place to stay. Sitting outside with a capuccino looking out at the fjord as the sun sets--- Wow. We will go back as soon as we can."

"The house is absolutely beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The host was available easily and answered all questions in a timely manner. We loved walking to see the animals up the road and sitting out back watching the water. Definitely a 10/10!! A few notes: If you want dinner or drinks at the hotel up the road, call to see if you can reserve a table as they typically only serve hotel guests. "I stayed here with my family (2 adult couples, 1 10 year old) in late September. We got lucky with great weather. The house got a lot of sun - we made good use of the window shades! - and we soaked it up on the deck. Several of us enjoyed a dip in the fjord and a soak in the hot tub afterwards. We rented a boat from the hotel next door one day, and went hiking another day. It was a great place to relax and enjoy nature, and had everything we needed. "

"We have enjoyed every minute we spent at the cabin. The communication with the owner was vey easy answering questions really quickly and providing clear and easy to follow instructions. The property is large, modern, clean and really well equipped. It is located in a quiet area very close to the sea and to the Panorama hotel. You will need a car and there is a supermarket 10min away. Pity that the weather was not good enough for us to use the spa. Overall, I would say this is one of the best...

"Fairly basic flat, clean and has everything you need. Up above the road so sitting outside on a nice evening has a great view. Owner lives upstairs and is very helpful. Beds comfy and good shower. Very friendly local cat comes to visit. About 25 minutes drive to centre of Bergen and loads of good walking and fjord swimming places within 20 minutes drive max. Thoroughly recommend for 10 days exploring."

"This property is a true gem. If you want mints on your pillow go somewhere else. If you want a very clean, very quiet, very functional retreat from the rat race this place is like a dream. I heartily recommend this property. It is delightfully quaint, yet you will have EVERYTHING you need for a lovely stay."
