"Pulling in I was immediately met with a very well lit parking lot which yave me a peace of mind. After enduring a 9 hour trip my legs were sore and I was ready to lay down so it was awesome to be met with smiles from the concierges' on duty that Wednesday night and for the extra effort and courtesy feom the concierge that assisted me of being put in a room downstairs. The description stated that there would be breakfast however since I hadnt planning on eating breakfast in the AM i didnt give much thought to not being told what time breakfast started and ended at check-in. There are signs posted that inform guests that breakfast must be eaten in the lobby, which I think may be a benefit to the hotel but an inconvenience for guests who prefer to eat in the privacy of their room. In my opinion maybe restricting the amount if food that is taken to the room may deter guests from taking more than they will eat at one time. I will admit I have been known to grab a couple of muffins for the road, which I would imagine if a majority of guests grabbed food for the road would increase the hotels food expenses. Walking in the room the first thing I noticed was the smell of the carpet that most hotels that still have carpet in their rooms have it wasnt off putting but it wasnt inviting either. The room's appearance overall was clean. Channel guide was a plus as well. There were restaurant and gas options nearby. Only minutes away from 95."
"I love the concept of the Graduate hotels and have stayed at quite a few now. My only gripe is I never find front desk staff particularly welcoming & have come to the conclusion that this is the vibe. It seems the same whichever Graduate I stay at. Room decoration is quirky and either your taste or not. I like that they are all specific to the town/school they are located in. It’s never the cheapest option but I’ve never had a bad stay. I just wish they would be more welcoming! Dining option in the Columbia hotel wasn’t great but there were plenty options within a 10-15min walk."
"Nice property. Centrally locted to restaurants and attractions. Clean room. Comfy bed. Great amenities. Staff was awesome. Only complaint is handicap permits/plates were not excluded from parking charge. However, I will eturn to stay at property again. "
