"From the outside this accommodation does not look promising- a ground floor property in a block of council flats, the shared hallway is pretty bleak. But the flat itself was fine, a bit basic but it had everything we needed, nice and clean, plenty of towels, quiet despite being next to a busy road. Parking was difficult - in theory there is on street parking but there is a Vehicle Hire/Garage business next door so all the parking spaces are taken up by their vehicles. "This was a perfect home base for our large family gathering (10 ppl ranging in age from 3-70). Close to Oban but far enough removed that it’s away from city traffic and is quiet and relaxing. Large, clean space, very comfortable for our large group. Would stay again!"

"If you are looking for a slower paced experience, this is a lovely place to stay. The neighbors are friendly, and the tavern at the end of the road had wonderful food and good service. The village was peaceful and charming. It was easy to get to almost anywhere in Scotland with 3-5 hour drives. The road in to the village is quaint and you need to take your time getting in. Can’t wait to come back."

"We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed for longer. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and looked after us attentively. The room had a view of the lake and was comfortable and clean. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent with a good selection, fabulous ingredients, and presentation. "Fabulous stay at the Holly Tree Inn, everything was top notch, the luxury room (14) had fantastic views, the staff were friendly and attentive, the food fabulous at both dinner and breakfast and the hotel was spotless. My only surprise is tgat this hotel didn’t have a higher star rating. Ill be back 👍"
