"Too many people slate this hotel We had a lovely warm Room bed was clean and bathroom was clean and hot working water and shower staff where amazing and the history of this place speaks for itself too many pick holes in this place and forget how old this building is I will Allways come back time and time again ! "The staff on reception were exceptionally kind and friendly. They deserve to be recognised for thier friendliness and helpfulness. It was a lady and a gentleman. Cant recall their names but they were so chatty and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Walls are a bit thin. Could literally hear all next doors conversations. Bed was comfy. View was amazing. Would defo stay here again."

"Fab hotel, huge rooms, great staff and reasonably priced. 35 min walk to the city centre or an 8 min Uber. Surrounding area is undergoing a bit of refurbishment so currently not great but I wouldn’t let that put you off. Easy to get to and parking is great and reasonable too. "
