Pros 1) staff very friendly and helpful. 2) maids were excellent, room was also spotless. 3) general hotel was clean and well presented. 4) close to a small beach, although the beach was often crowded and the sea was quite shallow, if you like swimming it was possible to wade out 150m to the deaper water. 5) walkable distance to the old town, approx 15-20 min walk depending on your pace. 6) shops...

"Well, I turned up at the hotel shortly before 11pm after an evening flight, and I found that the accommodation was overbooked. This was slightly annoying, but to be fair, I was provided with alternative accommodation. The first night I spent in an apartment with a room with two beds and there was a bathroom. "This room sits directly above a bar who blast computer techno generated music. When I say loud, items in my room were vibrating and as I lay in bed unable to sleep the vibrations came through the bed. Earplugs were of little help. The music was blasted until 2AM on Saturday, 1AM on Sunday and again to 2AM on Monday. It was brutal. The owmner only yold me after checking in about the music and she said it only lasted until midnight. Wrong!! If mega high volume computer generated techno music into...

"Heritage Hotel Antique Split was a wonderful place. We stayed there three nights. We arrived by ferry at night- Jan was waiting and helped us get to the hotel. The dining area was very nice- and daily breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff were extremely helpful with ideas for exploring. They also helped us get transportation to the airport when we departed. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. "
