"The resort is very nice it’s just far from everything. You have to take a taxi if you don’t rent a car to drive around. Everything is about 20-30 minutes away from the resort. I love the fact that the pool was 24/7 and beach access as well. I wish that there were more restaurants on the resort or at least close by. I only had one issue and that was with housekeeping I had to keep going to ask for them to come and service the room I left my room for the whole day and came back and the room had not been done. So I just asked the front desk to give me fresh laundry to change my own sheets and towels. I was there from 7/3 til 7/7 and I think that was a good amount of days to have housekeeping to clean. My overall experience was great and I would return "

"We had a great stay at The Fred! The room was on the smaller side, but perfectly comfortable for a couple. The hotel has a fun, vibrant vibe with great amenities. The pool area was really nice, and the view from the terrace was beautiful—especially around sunset. The bar is spacious and conveniently located right by the pool, which made it easy to relax with a drink in hand. One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent service from Kathiria—she was friendly, helpful, and truly made us feel welcome. The location is a big plus—it’s within walking distance to several restaurants and we were able to enjoy the 4th of July celebrations without needing a car. A solid choice for a fun, social getaway in St. Croix!"

"My best friend & I took this trip to St. Croix. We had another rental booked on the north side of the island & found out we would not be able to use the beach due to sargassum (really bad and stinky seaweed) just a few days prior to leaving. We are so happy we found Miro's 2 BR apt at the last minute! It was so beautiful at the top of a mountain. We had the best of both, the rainforest & the beach just minutes away. Miro, his sister (Jerika), (his dogs) Toro and Lola were the best hosts you could ask for. We got the grand tour when we arrived! Toro and Lola are the sweetest dogs ever & protect the property so you always feel safe. Miro's place is very unique with gorgeous woodwork that he built throughout his property. We had a beautiful mountain top view with a pool & hot tub to use anytime we wanted. He served us cocktails at his bar as he told us all about his home & how he decided to move to St. Croix years ago. They made fresh smoothies with rum & brought them out to the pool where we enjoyed the view & conversation. Delicious fresh fruit straight from the trees on his property. They gave us the grand tour of the island where we stopped along the way to see the sites of St. Croix. The weather was perfect for the 5 days we were there. Miro, we can't thank you enough for your hospitality & look forward to visiting again! We hope to stay with you, if you will have us back!! "Our family had an excellent stay at this home. It's very spacious and the kitchen is well-equipped. We ate most of our meals in, so it was nice to have everything we needed to cook. The neighborhood has a residential feel with very little thru traffic. Rainbow beach is an easy walk away and the backpack beach chairs the rental provided made days at the beach very relaxing. We also spent a lot of time on the large, covered veranda. Communication with our host was excellent. Would definitely stay again and recommend this property to family and friends!"
