"Nearly everything was excellent to be honest, we stayed in the gatehouse room 1. Its like your own wee cottage, near the main road but the room must’ve been sound proofed because you never heard a single car all night. We were able to park right outside the gatehouse too which was helpful for unloading the car. The staff were lovely and very accomodating. The only issue we had was we had to pay a £10 supplement for a cot as our 8month old baby was with us, never had to pay this before at hotels...

"It's in an amazing location and if you are lucky enough to get a front facing room, you have a fantastic view. Satff were all fab and it was a bonus to have a car park. We did feel the breakfast was expensive and there was no real restaurant to have evening dinner. There is a pub down stairs attached to hotel which was very nice.and they did serve pub type meals. We would def stay there again."
