"Fabulous hotel, perfect for a relaxed break whether that be as a couple or as a family. Overall, High standards and friendly service. Would definitely return. Only couple of issues we had was it was very difficult to find a parking space on arrival due to the busyness of the hotel and very slow service at reception checking in which meant significant time standing in a queue. One of the most disappointing points, which I did not expect from such a high class hotel, was when our beds were made on the second day, the sheets were neatly folded but the pillows were left as we had slept on them- not plumped to neatened. Did not look good when we arrived back to our room. "

"Great location in one of the most picturesque villages in Scotland. The 18th hole is just outside the back door and the road hole is right there too. Great for a peaceful early morning walk, even if you aren't a golfer. The stroll down the street along water to the ancient cathedral is a beautiful walk as well. Overall the food, location and room were first rate and some of the best accommodations we had in our week in Scotland."
