"The hotel was clean, restaurant was excellent and busy with locals, welcoming to have guests sitting in the lobby and porch, and pool area was great (lots of lounges, tables and couches). There was a little musty smell because of the age of the hotel. Price was very reasonable, FREE parking ( savings of $35-$48 per night) and friendly staff. Hotel had a busy vibe downstairs vs. a funeral parlor type atmosphere at other hotels that I have stayed at in St Pete."

"This is a funky hotel that has confortable but tight rooms. You go next door to the Hollander Hotel for breakfast, tho you have to pay. The best part is that you can walk to the St Pete Pier from the hotel, and thus to other nearby locations. Parking at the hotel is also tight but we did find a space."

It is walking distance to several other Beach bars where you can listen to a diverse range of music. Beach is a great place to chill out during the daytime.
