The toilet would not flush, the unit was infested with roaches, it was aside a busy road with lots of traffic and because the door did not seal or close properly the sounds were enough to keep m awake throughout the night

It was so unsafe that I didn't stay the second night. I tried to get a refund and they would not give me a refund and I still decided not to stay I went and got another room. There was drug activity people beating on the doors all hours of the night I heard yelling and screaming I felt unsafe. The rooms were not clean I can feel the Springs coming through the bed there are pubic hairs in the sink. I was appalled

When I first came into the check-in, everything seemed OK but as soon as I got to the room, I realized I had made a huge mistake. First of all there was no bathroom mirror in the bathroom. There was no shampoo or conditioner. The walls in very poor condition and needed to be painted. The caulking around the tub was old and needed to be redone. The hot water and water pressure in the shower was terrible. No real pillowsto sleep with only there were three small accent pillows on the bed. The whole facility looked unsafe, and I would never stay there again by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life when I went to the front desk to ask for two nights out of the three nights refunded for quality issues they told me it was not an option and gave me a hand held mirror instead. This hotel is definitely not up to standard. Do not waste your money. I totally felt scammed. Ruined my whole trip.

Weird staff and took forever to check in. Non smoking room smells like smoke and everything’s clean but outdated. Paint peeling off the walls, hole in the curtains. But it’s safe and clean so there’s that.

I am genuinely heartbroken by my experience at Budget Inn St. Petersburg. I had hoped for at least a basic level of comfort and respect, but what I encountered was far from that. The rooms were in an appalling state. The door, a fundamental aspect of safety, was not functional, leaving us feeling vulnerable. The bedsheets reeked of cigarettes, making it nearly unbearable to stay in the room. To add insult to injury, we were charged $197 along with a $50 cash deposit, supposedly to protect the property. It felt ironic, as the property was already falling apart and poorly maintained. The night was even worse. The air conditioner was positioned oddly in a corner and barely worked, leaving us in stifling heat. I could not sleep a wink, and by morning, I was exhausted and frustrated. When I expressed my concerns to the front desk, the lady was kind and seemed to understand my plight. But when she passed the message to the owner, his response was devastating. He told her to refund us for one night and rudely said, "Ask them to get the **** of my hotel." I was utterly shocked and hurt. As an Indian myself, I felt deeply saddened that he, someone from my own culture, could behave in such an unkind and disrespectful manner. Our culture teaches us to treat guests with care and hospitality, but his actions were the complete opposite. This experience has left me feeling disrespected and deeply disappointed. I urge others to avoid this hotel. No one deserves to be treated this way

I went to check in. I was a bit early. They told me I had to wait, which was no problem but the place was filthy. It was New Year’s Day. They said it would take time to clean the room. They asked me for a $50 cash deposit which I thought was bizarre all the time renting through Expedia we never put a cash deposit we decided not to stay and we left and then contacted Expedia , expedia contacted the hotel in the hotel is refusing to give us a refund.

Arrived and wasn't aware there was a mamdatory $50 CASH deposit required. Used and Uber to get to hotel and had to walk all over past 10pm looking for ATM because they wouldn't just take a deposit on my card. The room did not have a key so EVERY time I left i had to get someone to let me back in. The toilet wouldnt flush when I first arrived. Waited for a plunger until the next morning because maintenance wouldnt come out to fix the toilet when requested!
