"The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and the hotel is located in a great area. My only suggestion is they should sell some Blue Jays merch since that's the theme of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. "

The free trolly gave us the ability to see downtown St. Petersburg's numerous attractions. We hopped on and off at our leisure. Some of the trolly driver's provide information about historical sights and new construction projects along the route.

A great city to visit for a Blues Fest , other event or any reason. Lots of museums, entertainment, dining options,. The downtown is on the bay and has lots of green space to make it beautiful. We especially recommend the newer Imagine Museum.

Walkable. We enjoyed the Chihuly Museum with its live blown glass exhibition. The Dali Museum was amazing, especially with the free guided tour. Food at the Dali Museum is good and we took our selfie with Slavador Dali.

We are in love. St. Pete offers something for everyone! Super walkable, dog friendly, and great places to eat & drink. We like to stay downtown to walk on central & to the pier, and still be close to beaches & Tampa.

Love downtown ST Pete, it's beautiful, plenty of food choices, bars and shops and of course the water front with the pier. It is a nice get away spot.

"I found it shocking that the beach was dirty in the morning. It was like a night club was there with all the bottles and plastic. City crew was on the beach at 6am. When I left at around 9am to go back to my room at opal, the beach was clean. This is not the resorts job because at least 50 more resorts, along with bars, restaurants, and stores share that coast in the gulf. And it is at least a thousand people on the beach daily. Maybe city crew should come at night or earlier than 6 AM. I hope they figure something out. But all in all my trip, the beach and activities was a 9.9999 out of 10. Opal I am sure share responsibility, but so do the other businesses and resorts. We should all do our parts. "
