We stayed for 5 nights in June. The hotel staff didnt know who we were, we overlooked the pool area which had not been cleaned in sometime and if want to sit by the pool to get some sun you have to get there before 3pm otherwise its completely shaded...the hotel is in a good location and surrounded by good restaurants but for the money you can find something better...
Look how dirty the deck around the pool compared to the pool next door...

The location of this hotel is great. A short walk from many food and entertainment options. The staff and the facility could both use some changes. The staff didn’t seem happy to be working there and the facility needs refreshing and better cleaning.

Hyatt place is centrally located to downtown, the pier is in walking distance as are several museums. One of the central ave trolley stop And the Looper trolley stop is close by as well. Staff very friendly and helpful, great breakfast. We recommend Hyatt Place very much and will def stay next time in town. Thanks
