"Came late - friendly staff welcomed -effective check in - Negative was only non-fat milk at Breakfast"

"We enjoyed our stay at Wood Hotel. The room was lovely and spacious. The view was amazing. Breakfast was wonderful. We also dined at the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed that as well. Our only issue what that the shower drained very slowly. Since the shower was the same level as the floor, the water soon spread across the whole bathroom. We notified the front desk and I am sure the drain will be clear before the next guest. "

"On my visit to Norway I looked for a property close to where I was working. As a keen golfer I noticed the property advertised an on site golf course and driving range. This was the main reason I booked this hotel. I paid extra to fly my clubs over. To my surprise on arrival there was not a golf course in site or driving range. When I enquired about the facility’s I was told the nearest course was over 20 minutes away. This was really disappointing. The property didn’t have an electric charge point either. This has really put me off using hotels.com again now as I don’t know what to expect from the advertised rooms. The room didn’t look anything like the advertised room and it definitely wasn’t a queen bed. The room temperature couldn’t be adjusted and the room was very basic and not what I was expecting for the price I paid. "

"Very nice stay. Large hotel with lots of room. Checkin was easy; desk clerk was very nice. Room was large and clean. Bathroom good, great shower. Very good breakfast with lots of food and drink choices. Staff friendly and helpful."
